2013 in Review
1. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I won't call it a new year's resolution (as I don't make them) but last January, I decided I need to change my way of eating and lose weight so I started on low-carb. I will continue my low-carb lifestyle this coming year in hopes to lose an another 25-30 lbs - not really calling it a resolution.
2. What did you do in 2013 that you’d never done before?
Changed to low-carb - never done low-carb before only low calorie, low fat and didn't lose as much and gained it all back.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yes, my sister-in-law's father (January).
5. What countries did you visit?
None
6. What would you like to have in 2014 that you lacked in 2013?
Do more exercise - yoga and swimming
7. What date(s) from 2013 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
May 1st - the day my boss told me she was retiring.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Losing 35 pounds!
9. What was your biggest failure?
I don't consider it a failure, but a lesson learned - I wasn't communicating well with my husband over the summer months and we had some rough moments.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nope
11. What was the best thing you bought?
A 2010 Jeep Liberty
12. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Our trip in October to Vermont - love the farm and the area!
13. What song will always remind you of 2013?

14. Compared to this time last year, are you: (a) happier or sadder? (b) thinner or fatter? (c) richer or poorer?
Happier, Thinner and Richer (in spirit)!
15. What do you wish you’d done more of?
Reading and doing crafts (cross-stitch and knitting)

Playing games on my Kindle...it is kinda my addiction.
17. How did you spend Christmas?
With my dad and sister as the rest of the family was out in Montana.
18. Did you fall in love in 2013?
Yes, with myself!
19. What was your favorite TV program?
The Big Bang Theory
20. Do you hate anyone now that you did not hate this time last year?
I dislike some people, but never hate.
21. What was the best book you read?
I use to read so much, but haven't done that as much as I use to so I don't have a best book for this year.
22. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Now that I have SirrusXM Radio in my new vehicle, I am lovin' listening to old songs from the 70's and 80's.
23. What did you want and get?
A newer vehicle.
24. What did you want and not get?
Our own home, but hopefully in 2014.
25. What was your favourite film of this year?
I don't go to movies and very rarely rent one.
26. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I was 46 and we went out for dinner at Red Lobster.
27. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
If my Mom was still alive.
28. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2013?
Since losing the weight, I have actually gone more casual than dressy.
29. What kept you sane?
Being with friends and family.

My Mom

Our lovely neighbors

Food is energy and not a substitute for making me feel happier when I am sad, depressed, etc.
