All is Good....

Just a quick update...had my needle biopsy on Friday which took about 2 hours from start to finish. I had alittle extra bleeding that wouldn't stop so they kept me alittle longer trying to stop it (since it being a holiday weekend, they didn't want me to have any issues they could prevent beforehand). All in all, it went very smoothly, the nurses and doc were great and explained everything as they went along. It was more uncomfortable just laying there on the table then the needle that numbs you or the actual needle for the biopsy - that one just stung alittle. I was due to get the results today, but they actually called me late yesterday afternoon and said everything looks fine...woo hoo! Like I said, I was 99% sure it would be ok, but I had that 1% were I was saying to myself you could have cancer! E accompanied me there and afterwards we went food shopping for the two holiday dinners we were hosting this past weekend. I had some discomfort late Friday afternoon, but took some pain reliever and took a 2 hour nap and felt pretty good afterwards. We had my family on Saturday and his family on Sunday. We had a great time with both and the weather was just plain fine (alittle cooler than I was hoping, but sunny) and we ate outside on our deck both days. I have more on my mind to write, but have to get back to work. Hope everyone had a good holiday weekend. P.S. I have lost 3 lbs so far. At least it is something and I will take it.
