Who I am...
I saw this idea on another blog http://nokiddinginnz.blogspot.com/2012/07/who-i-am.html, loved it, and so here is my version.
100 things you might not know about me:
1. Daughter
2. Sister (youngest child of 4)
3. Aunt (to 3 nieces and 3 nephews)
4. Been a volunteer for 2 years now at a cat shelter every other Sunday
5. Cat and dog lover (we have 2 cats - Dora and Puddin, but would love to have a dog too...hopefully one day)
6. Grew up in the burbs...would have loved to live on a Farm.
7. Love to read (mostly fiction but occasionally self-help books)
8. Perfectionist
9. Would love to own some chickens
10. Love to be organized
11. Love to listen to music from the 80's
12. Never liked to cook before I met my hubby, but now I really do enjoy it
13. Used to bake alot and get so many compliments (don't do as much as I use to due to trying to lose the weight)
14. Have been overweight for most of my life
15. Love ice coffee in the summer (only way I will drink it), but all other times a lover of Earl Grey tea
16. Enjoy trying different foods and like dishes with fruit in them
17. Love word games, but addicted to Zumba Revenge right now
18. Addicted to blogger - almost daily (not always to post, but to read others)
19. Would rather stay at B&B's or rent vacation homes than a hotel
20. Love to be by the water in the summer whether a pond, lake or ocean
21. Not into swimming and haven't worn a bathing suit in over 20 years!
22. My hubby loves everything I cook
23. Database nerd - I love it
24. Never went to college
25. Moved out on my own at 26 years old
26. Met my husband when I was 34 years old
27. Didn't date alot before meeting my hubby
28. Was a homebody for most of my early adult life

37. Have only One speeding ticket to my name
38. Short - 5 feet 4 inches

40. Discovering more freckles the older I get
41. Short-haired - just recently cut it!

51. Starting to develop arthritis in my ankle and elbow - can't wear flip flops when doing alot of walking - no support

53. Wear earplugs to bed - hubs snores!
54. Moved in with hubs 6 months after meeting him
55. Drives a 2003 Dodge Caravan

I use to cross stitch all the time too - but not anymore. I think as I get older, those holes are just too small. I have found Crochet to be easier.
ReplyDeleteGet the freckles checked by a dermatologist every once and a while...I have seen 4 of my freckles/moles turn into skin cancer - ick.
Haven't gotten the Kindle yet, but am tempted...I would like for it to be able to do "audio books" and hook up in the car (I commute a lot...so I listen to books more than read). Can't find anyone to confirm if the new "fire" will do this or not.
Great list. I could relate to a few - but not the "early to rise" one! lol
