Update...
Well, that AF was a totally shock. I bleed for 4 days straight at a very consistent flow that I had to go out and purchase more pads...it was totally surreal. I haven't had an AF like that in many many years. One of the morning I awoke to changing my pjs and the sheets on the bed. Now I wonder what next month will bring. I already scheduled a follow-up appt with the new doc in mid-March and I will mention to her about this and that should be around the time I would get my next AF. I am having no additional issues with the horomones and lovin not having the hot flashes and sleeping thru the night now.
I had a great visit with my sister and dad over those days I took off from work. My dad absolutely love the rye bread I made him in the bread machine and brought him some homemade beef stew I had made the day before as well. I can't believe how well my dad is doing at his age (92) and he still does alot of things himself as well.
I came home one day before I was scheduled to go back to work and E and I were able to do a few things together...we went out for breakfast at a local diner (we hadn't been to), dropped my vehicle off for oil change and emissions test, then went for a long walk on a path at the local community center (it was a nice sunny day with warmer temps in the high 40's), then went over to the local organic market and got a bunch of fresh produce. Then spent the rest of the day just chillin out at home. I got a Kindle Fire for Xmas and I have to say I am addicted to Words with Friends...absolutely love playing that.
Dora's vet appt. went very well...much better than I was anticipating. She weighs the same as she did last July (so nothing lost or gained) and her bloodwork on her kidneys came back the same as in July as well...so things are status quo. She is showing some signs of arthistis in her back legs so we are giving her a joint gel on a daily basis...I just take her in the bathroom with me and slap it on her paw and she needs to lick it off completely before she is allowed to leave or we will have that stuff all over our walls and floors (yes, we learned the hard way the first couple of times, LOL). At least in the bathroom there is tile and it is a much easier clean-up if she shakes it off her paw. I am relieved for now and hoping when we go back in Aug/Sept. her kidneys will not have gotten any worse. Side note...and doesn't it always work this way, that the cat you need to give the medicine to would lick it right off your finger, but no, it is our other cat that wants to lick it off my finger...Puddin loves it, LOL.
My ankle pain is getting better, but over this weekend, I have had pain in my right knee when going down stairs...go figure right. I was hoping we would get back to the gym, but that hasn't happened now in about 2 weeks and I am alittle hestiant now with this new knee pain that has developed. If it isn't one thing it is another. Sometimes, I just think God is trying to tell me...look I know you want to lose weight, but really your heart hasn't been into it these last couple of weeks and now I am going to throw some physical pain into the mix as well. So frustrating!
Trying to focus on getting thru one more month of possible winter weather here and hopefully April will bring Spring like weather with more daylight time and maybe that will help my motivation. I can't believe I will be 45 years old in May...only 5 more years till 50, OMG!
